Safety and Security

We maintain the highest possible security of our premises to ensure that each child is safely cared for during their time with us.

Entrance to the nursery is strictly controlled and only known parents and carers are admitted by our staff members.

Every child at the nursery will have a password, so that in the event that the parent or carer is not able to collect the child, they can give permission for a relative or friend to do so.

We have digital CCTV both inside and outside the nursery, this records images from all of the nursery classrooms and was installed to give that added piece of mind.

One other aspect of safety is the ratio of care workers to children. This is strictly governed by Ofsted, we aim to have our staffing levels above Ofsted’s minimum requirements to ensure the best possible levels of attention and care.

Any outside visits that we undertake will be with a strict adult to child ratio and we will always seek parent permission before undertaking such visits.

A number of our staff have first aid and paediatric first aid qualifications and at least one will be in the nursery at all times. The first aid qualification includes first aid training for infants and young children.
